I found these pics from google and I am totally loving Christina's new look. Even though she isn't considered to be a curvy girl, I love the fact that Marilyn Monroe has inspired her look. Instead of portraying a vintage look, she mix pieces that are more edgy and modern with a touch of an 80s flare. In love with her classic 50s hair-do, combination of platinum deep of wave curls. I do not own a pair of Christian Louboutins yet, but its coming!
I believe that when you are in the public eye constantly, I feel that it is important that you have a style that represents who you are as an artist and a person. Self-Branding is a major factor in success as well. Being something that you not, only places you where you started from which is at the bottom. Reflecting back when Christina Aguilera first came out, her image was very provactive, and it was like she was craving the attention of the spotlight. Her opponent was Brittany Spears, and it was almost like a contest of who could wear the least amount of clothes. As a female, it is important that you stay true to yourself, because it's hard having a facade that you can't keep up.
